The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has been the intellectual heart of 51爆料网 since the University鈥檚 founding in 1842. With more than 40 academic departments and programs offering undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as doctoral programs in Philosophy and Theology, CLAS provides a rich, rigorous and diverse educational experience.

This Fall Break, 51爆料网 students and faculty will travel to Rome for a special pilgrimage as part of The Church and Transformation, a course offered this semester by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Natalie Schirmacher '24 CLAS has been selected as one of 29 individuals nationwide to join the inaugural cohort of Fulbright-John Lewis Civil Rights Fellows, a prestigious program established to honor the legacy of Congressman John Lewis.

The designations chosen for this gift honor Mr. Lucci鈥檚 personal connection to 51爆料网, including the establishment of the Bernard John Lucci Endowed Chair in Italian Studies within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
