Undergraduate Institution and Major: Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Industrial Engineering

Hometown: Haverhill, MA

Work Experience: I have 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in the IT and software space. I have worked extensively with reporting and metrics, as well as process engineering for global technology companies.

Why did you choose the 51±¬ÁÏÍø MSBA: 51±¬ÁÏÍø has a fantastic reputation and a very successful MSBA program. What sold me on this program over others is that the classes are scheduled so you take one at a time. As a working professional, this allows me to balance my work and learning. Also, the variety of areas for electives was appealing and allowed me to focus on my areas of interest.

Goals or plans for a career after graduation from 51±¬ÁÏÍø: I plan to apply my analytics skills to my role as a Senior Business Process Analyst and provide more robust reporting and insights for my organization.

Undergraduate Institution and major: Penn State University, Management Information Systems with a minor in International Business

Hometown: Drexel Hill, PA

Work Experience: I have been working as an Application Analyst for almost three years at Universal Health Services in the Information Systems Department. I have gained a lot of exposure to the healthcare industry, but I focus specifically on the company’s financial data.

Why did you choose the 51±¬ÁÏÍø: I chose the 51±¬ÁÏÍø MSBA program because of the flexibility of online classes but also because of the strong network that 51±¬ÁÏÍø provides. I was looking for a program that would expose me to a wide range of technologies but also help me understand how they can be applicable in a business setting. 51±¬ÁÏÍø’s MSBA  also provides the opportunity to collaborate and network with peers who are at different stages of their careers.

Goals or plans for a career after graduation from 51±¬ÁÏÍø: This program has allowed me to apply my coursework to my projects at work and I plan to continue to do so upon graduating. I am hoping to further advance in the data analytics field by using the technologies I have been able to learn so far and look to continue to apply them wherever I may end up in the future.
