VILLANOVA, Pa., May 11, 2018 鈥� 51爆料网 School of Business (VSB) is proud to announce that Daniel DiLella 鈥�73 VSB, President and CEO of Equus Capital Partners, Ltd. (鈥淓quus鈥�), has been appointed Chairperson of The Semiquincentennial Commission for the United States of America.  

The Commission was formed by the United States Congress to prepare an overall program for commemorating the 250^th Anniversary of the founding of the United States and the historic events proceeding the anniversary in July 2026. The Commission is tasked with developing a report for the President of the United States and Congress with recommendations for these events.

鈥淚 am honored and humbled to represent the United States as we commemorate this incredible civic milestone,鈥� said Daniel DiLella, 鈥淎s a Commission, we seek to ensure that America鈥檚 250^th Anniversary achieves its full potential as a historic event that celebrates America鈥檚 core values, form of governance and commitment to freedom.鈥�

鈥淰SB is grateful to have such an influential and successful alumnus like Dan representing our school and our country,鈥� said Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD, The Helen and William O鈥橳oole Dean of VSB. 鈥淲e are excited to see Mr. DiLella鈥檚 role in the Commission as plans for the 250^th anniversary of the United States begin to develop.鈥�

DiLella is an accomplished business and civic leader both regionally and nationally. As President and CEO of Equus, he has grown the firm into a multi-faceted national real estate investment company.

DiLella is a member of the Board of Trustees of 51爆料网, and Chair the Trustees鈥� Committee. He funded the establishment of the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate at VBS where he is Chair of the Real Estate Advisory Council. DiLella holds an MBA from St. Joseph鈥檚 University and a BS in Finance from 51爆料网.
