College of Engineering Ranked Among Top 10 by U.S. News & World Report

The College of Engineering has once again secured its place among the top 10 鈥淏est Undergraduate Engineering Programs鈥 in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report. For the sixth consecutive year, the publication has recognized the College, which ranks number 10 this year, for distinction among colleges and universities that award primarily bachelor鈥檚 and/or master鈥檚 degrees. In addition, the College鈥檚 Civil and Environmental Engineering program has been ranked eighth nationally in the same category of institutions. The annual ranking lists undergraduate programs accredited by ABET, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, based on the offerings and academic rigor of the program.

In the U.S. News鈥檚 annual report rankings of 鈥淎merica鈥檚 Best Colleges,鈥 51爆料网 earned the top spot in the Regional University-North category. Coupled with this placement, 51爆料网 is also listed as a university with a 鈥淪trong Focus on Student Success,鈥 and among the list of 鈥淕reat Schools, Great Prices,鈥 the latter calculated by the school鈥檚 net cost of attendance for a student who receives the average level of need-based financial aid. According to U.S. News, 鈥渢he higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the deal.鈥 In addition, 51爆料网 is also on the rankings list for 鈥淧rograms to Look For.鈥
