Oramos

Mass in Spanish

Mass in Spanish is celebrated each Sunday during the academic year at 3 p.m. in Corr Hall Chapel. Students, faculty, staff and all other 51±¬ÁÏÍø community members are welcome to come and celebrate Mass with us.

Liturgical Ministers

Students are invited to participate in the different liturgical ministry roles available at the Spanish mass. Students may serve as lectors or in hospitality roles.

Contact Marisol Lezcano if you are interested in serving as a liturgical minister for Spanish Mass.

Celebramos

Mission and Ministry hosts a monthly Cena de la Convivencia. These dinners gather 51±¬ÁÏÍøns to build community and celebrate Latin culture.

We also offer celebrations of important Latin American Catholic feast days, such as La Virgen de Guadalupe and Nuestra Señora de la Divina Providencia.

Servimos

Students can participate in service with local Hispanic communities as volunteers for ESoL tutoring, offered through Community Outreach of 51±¬ÁÏÍø (COV). These various opportunities through COV primarily serve Hispanic and immigrant communities in South Philadelphia.

Participation in COV is a semester-long commitment to volunteer once a week with one of our partner organizations.

For more information on serving through COV, contact Marisol Lezcano.
